摘要: ‘Little Ice Age’ (LIA) climatic deteriorations have been abundantly documented in various archives such as ice, lake sediments and peat bog deposits. Palaeoecological analyses of samples identified these using a range techniques, for example palynology, plant macrofossils, testate amoebae or carbon isotopic analyses. The use inorganic geochemistry the reconstruction dust fluxes has remained challenge tracing nature LIA changes. Although idea enhanced erosion conditions storminess is commonly discussed, deposition peatlands over Europe during are rarely favourable, because natural forest cover was much more important than nowadays, preventing deposition. This intense canopy masks peatlands. In northern Poland, near Baltic shore, Slowin´skie Blota area deforested around AD 1100, ie, just before LIA, therefore constitutes key change. With support well-constrained chronology, fluctuations recorded an ombrotrophic geochemistry, macrofossils changes good agreement with other records from Poland NE Europe. However, c. 50-year discrepancy can be observed between records. possibly due to progressive time-dependent cooling gradient north south
