摘要: We modelled the He iiλ4686 line profiles observed in η Carinae binary system close to 2003.5 spectroscopic event, assuming that they were formed shocked gas flows at both sides of contact surface by wind–wind collision. used a constant flow velocity and added turbulence form Gaussian distribution. allowed emission from primary secondary shocks but introduced infinite opacity surface, implying only side cone visible observer contributed profile. Using orbital parameters derived 7-mm light curve during last event (Paper II) we able reproduce obtained with Hubble Space Telescope different epochs, as well mean velocities ground-based telescopes. A very important feature our model is profile depends on inclination plane; found explain latitude-dependent line, scattered into sight Homunculus, orbit cannot lie Homunculus equatorial plane, usually assumed. This result, together relative position stars events, us most observational features, like variation ‘Purple Haze’ phase, conciliate X-ray absorption postulated shell effect optical ultraviolet curves.
