The binding of some human antiendothelial cell antibodies induces endothelial cell apoptosis.

摘要: The pathogenic role of antiendothelial cell antibodies (AECA) remains unclear. They are frequently associated with to anionic phospholipids (PL), such as phosphatidylserine (PS), which is difficult reconcile the distribution PL molecular species within plasma membrane. Since it already known that PS transferred outer face membrane a preclude apoptosis, possibility exists apoptosis initiated by AECA. AECA-positive/anti-PL antibody-negative sera from eight patients systemic sclerosis (SS) and 21 control were evaluated. Endothelial cells (EC) incubated AECA exposure was established through binding annexin V. Hypoploid enumeration, DNA fragmentation, optical ultrastructural analyses EC used confirm apoptosis. Incubation derived six SS led expression on surface cells. This phenomenon significantly more frequent in (P < 0.04) than diseases. redistribution preceded other events apoptosis: hypoploidy, morphology characteristic for Apoptosis-inducing did not recognize Fas receptor. We conclude may be inducing
