摘要: State and local school vaccination requirements serve to protect students against vaccine-preventable diseases (1). This report summarizes data collected by state immunization programs* on coverage among children in kindergarten (kindergartners) 48 states, exemptions for kindergartners 49 provisional enrollment grace period status 28 states the 2019-20 year, which was more than halfway completed when most schools moved virtual learning spring because of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Schools programs can work together ensure that undervaccinated are caught vaccinations preparation returning in-person learning. follow-up is especially important current undervaccination likely higher disruptions during ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (2-4).
