Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Uterine Papillary Serous Carcinoma

摘要: Uterine papillary serous carcinoma (UPSC) is an aggressive variant of endometrial cancer that frequently imitates the ovary in its clinical presentation and histologic appearance. Unlike ovarian lesion, however, it known to be particularly resistant chemotherapy. A patient with a putative diagnosis unresectable Stage IV was treated three cycles neoadjuvant chemotherapy containing paclitaxel carboplatin. After remarkable response, interval cytoreductive surgery performed. primary tumor pathologic features UPSC found. To our knowledge, use paclitaxel-containing has not been reported.
