摘要: Abstract 1. Infarction of one or more organs occurred in 73 cases, an incidence 45 per cent, a group 164 cases which death was caused by rheumatic heart disease. In 41 instances organ, 22 two organs, and 10 three were involved single multiple infarcts. The order frequency were: lungs 31, brain 28, kidneys 25, spleen 18, extremities 10, intestines 5, liver 2. A conservative estimate revealed that 34 21 cent the total group, embolism played chief contributing part patients. Embolism plays, therefore, significant role causation 3. statistical consideration suggests auricular fibrillation rather than active endocarditis auricles plays primary etiological formation thrombi. 4. Rheumatic disease, any other type is responsible for embolic manifestations. 5. Clinical considerations bearing on manifestations are discussed.
