Some observations on pyloric gland adenoma: an uncommon and long ignored entity!

摘要: Pyloric gland adenomas (PGAs) are uncommon to rare and found mostly in the stomach but a number of other anatomical sites as well. They were recognized years ago by European Japanese colleagues whereas North American pathologists learned diagnose them more recently. associated with conditions that result pyloric metaplasia, prototype which is autoimmune gastritis. Since latter common women men, gastric PGA has striking female predominance. There appear be differences distribution various populations.
