摘要: We report the development of a chitosan modified carbon fiber microelectrode for in vivo detection serotonin. find that has ability to reject physiological levels ascorbic acid interferences and facilitate selective sensitive serotonin, common catecholamine neurotransmitter. Presence on surface was investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) cyclic voltammetry (CV). The electrode characterized differential pulse (DPV). A limit 1.6 nM serotonin with sensitivity 5.12 nA/μM, linear range from 2 100 reproducibility 6.5% n=6 electrodes were obtained. Chitosan microelectrodes selectively measure presence acid. In measurements performed concentration live embryonic zebrafish intestine. sensor quantifies intestinal while successfully rejecting interferences. demonstrate can be used as an effective coating at microelectrodes, alternative Nafion, are reliable tools monitoring changes neurotransmitter levels.
