摘要: The influence of high doses methylprednisolone on complement activation and endotoxin concentra- was investigated in two groups eight patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting. Group 1 received methylprednisolone, 30 mg /kg, at the induction anesthesia; group 2 served as control group. concentrations increased significantly both start cardiopulmonary bypass. During bypass, were higher steroid compared with (p < 0.01). After completion surgery, declined to almost zero within seven days groups. Complement reduced steroid-treated during (P clinical outcome after first postoperative week same It appears that high-dose steroids can reduce although clearance endotoxins may also be reduced.[.ab]
