Determination of rainfall duration statistics for rain‐out models from daily records

摘要: We discuss two methods by which the parameters of a simple model occurrence rainy and dry episodes can be estimated from data. first apply method moments to mean variance fraction fixed time period during it is raining. The second derives maximum likelihood estimates observations weather at regular intervals.
