摘要: Cold spraying is increasingly attracting attentions from both scientific and industrial communities due to its unique ‘low-temperature’ coating build-up process potential applications in the additive manufacturing across a variety of industries. The existing studies mainly focused on following subjects: particle acceleration heating, build-up, formation mechanism, properties, applications, among which heating can be regarded as premise other subjects because it directly determines whether particles have sufficient energy deposit form coating. Investigations behavior cold been widely conducted numerically experimentally over decades, where many valuable conclusions were drawn. However, literature this topic vast; systematical summery review work still lack so far. Besides, some curtail issues involved modeling experiments are not quite clear, needs further clarified. Hence, comprehensive summary very necessary. In paper, gas flow, acceleration, heat transfer spray systematically reviewed. Firstly, brief introduction given introduce early analytical models for predicting flow velocity spraying. Subsequently, special attention directed towards application computational fluid dynamics technique modeling. Finally, experimental observations measurements summarized.
