摘要: Abstract We investigated sucrose radicals produced by heavy-ion irradiation with various linear energy transfer (LETs) and the possibility for a electron spin resonance (ESR) dosimeter. The impact of heavy ions on radicals, which were measured ESR. obtained spectral pattern was same as that helium (He) ions, carbon (C) neon (Ne) iron (Fe) γ-ray irradiation. Identical spectra after 1 year, but initial intensities decreased few percent when samples kept in ESR tubes caps at ambient temperature. total concentration had relation absorbed dose, correlated logarithmically LET. Qualitative analyses showed production depended both particle identity LET dose. He most sensitive to Empirical relations between yield particles imply certain dose can be estimated concentration.
