摘要: The piezoelectric constant of a uniaxially stretched and polarized poly(vinylidene fluoride) film decreases monotonically with increasing temperature in the range from 65 to 165 °C. After specimen is cooled under open‐circuit conditions, thermally stimulated current reverses sign exhibits peak at around glass‐transition Tg. Reversible changes infrared spectra before after poling process suggest that dipoles β crystals can be aligned along direction an applied electric field. alignment strongly influenced by amorphous region; coercive field P‐E hysteresis curve observed 50 Hz increases rapidly Under high field, behaves above Tg same way as ferroelectric ceramics.
