摘要: Predictors of outcome in pediatric submersion victims treated by Seattle and King County's prehospital emergency services were studied. Victims less than 20 years old identified from hospital admissions paramedic medical examiners' reports. The proportion fatal or severe outcomes patients compared with various risk factors. Of 135 patients, 45 died 5 had neurologic impairment. A subset 38 found cardiopulmonary arrest a 32% survival rate, 67% survivors unimpaired only mildly impaired. two factors that occurred most commonly who severely impaired duration greater 9 minutes (28 patients) resuscitation longer 25 (20 patients). Both ascertained the phase care. Submersion was associated steadily increasing outcomes: 10% (7/67) for 0 to minutes, 56% (5/9) 6 88% (21/25) 10 100% (4/4) minutes. None children receiving escaped death Our rates saving all victims, particularly arrest, are considerably higher has been reported before children. Prompt advanced cardiac life support is effective means intervention victim. Prehospital information provided valuable predictors outcome.
