摘要: In this study, benzene, toluene, and xylenes (BTX) removal from contaminated water by physical, chemical, biological processes was studied. Results showed that air sparging in polluted can reduce monoaromatic compounds 140,000 to about 5 μg/l only 1 h process with a gassing rate of 0.33 VVM. This method cannot be considered as green technology pollutants are transferred the liquid phase gas The ultimate objective research thus evaluate efficiency strategy involving BTX adsorption granular-activated charcoal (GAC) subsequent regeneration support bioleaching process. Analysis such requires building analytical tools able accurately determine contents contaminants samples containing biomass make possible calculation reliable material balances. Current investigation readily trapped GAC particles low further release medium whereas they remain at least partially available for situ biodegradation. onto shown reach maximum solute retention close 350, 250, 150 (as mg/g GAC) xylenes, respectively. approach, which could afford efficient active carbon regeneration, is very promising without any environment damage.
