摘要: Previous investigations of the migratory grasshopper,Melanoplus sanguinipes, demonstrated geographical variation at visible loci but not enzyme loci. Electrophoretic analysis 3 other Melanoplines and an Oedipodinid also revealed uniform spacial distributions. Investigation allelic patterms among these 6 suggests that selective rather than stochastic factors are operative.
