On the Species Composition of Eels of the Genus Ariosoma (Anguilliformes: Congridae) from Nha Trang and Van Phong Bays (South China Sea, Central Vietnam)

摘要: In the coastal waters of Central Vietnam, genus Ariosoma Swainson is represented by three known species (A. anago (Temminck et Schlegel), A. meeki (Jordan Snyder), and megalops Fowler) a new described recently dolichopterum Karmovskaya). The brief descriptions former maps their distribution (adult individuals larval forms) in South China Sea Western Pacific, from Japan to Australia, are presented.
