摘要: We describe the clinical presentation, high-frequency ultrasound biomicroscopic characteristics, and pathologic findings associated with a conjunctival inclusion cyst within iris. The patient had undergone an uncomplicated extracapsular cataract extraction posterior chamber intraocular lens insertion 9 months prior to presenting progressively enlarging iris mass. A examination revealed solid-appearing white tumor midiris stroma, accompanied by limbalconjunctival hyperemia anterior inflammation. Ultrasound biomicroscopy egg-shaped solid stromal that displaced pigment epithelium. mass was composed of three concentric layers different echogenicity: moderately reflective mantle, less middle zone, hyperreflective core. Within 3 days initiation topical corticosteroid therapy (prednisolone acetate, 0.5 mg per drop four times daily), enlarged induced plasmoid aqueous hypopyon. Histopathologic study evidence acute chronic have found diagnosis epithelial can be aided evaluation. This case also suggests it may preferable excise these tumors treatment.
