摘要: Optical burst switching (OBS) is regarded as one of the most promising solutions for next generation backbone. Burst assembly in edge nodes an important issue to be addressed OBS networks. In this paper, impacts using different schemes on Poisson traffic properties are investigated and simulated. The results shown that intervals assembled arrivals short dominant, but their service time distributions much from each other due schemes. When timer-based scheme used, a normal-like distribution obtained, while long dominant obtained when threshold-based adopted. addition, product load rate keeps invariable both cases.
