摘要: We examined the structure of protein kinase C in an attempt to understand molecular events connecting activation with cellular response 1–3. Rabbit complementary DNA clones coding for three distinct types C, named α, β and γ, have been identified sequenced. The deduced amino acid sequence γ (673, 671 672 acids, respectively) are closely related. Kinases α share identical TV-terminal 621 residues their messenger RNAs arise from a single gene. C-terminal halves domains highly homologous other kinases. mRNAs expressed various tissues strikingly different tissue specificities. one is found ubiquitously among tissues, while those predominate brain.
