摘要: Class F fly ash based Na-geopolymer formulations have been applied as fire resistant coatings on steel. The main variables for the coating were Si: Al molar and water: cement weight ratios. We determined that adhesive strength of strongly depend geopolymer composition. ease with which can be onto metal surfaces resultant thickness water content formulation. Adhesive strengths greater than 3.5 MPa achieved mild steel compositions Si:Al 3.5. Microstructure evolution thermal properties optimised show they very promising characteristics.
