摘要: Abstract Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was incorporated into composite nanofiltration membranes in situ by adding different amounts of PVA piperazine (PIP) during its interfacial polymerization with trimesoyl chloride (TMC). Effect on membrane structures, performances and anti-fouling properties studied X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force (AFM), cross-flow module. It found that the flux increased without sacrificing rejection after PVA. XPS results show active layer contains polyamide components. AFM SEM roughness these decreases proportionally increasing mass fraction to PIP (the root mean square value (RMS) from 110.7 nm 41.6 nm 16% PVA). The hydrophilicity NF also increase PIP. Moreover, performance is improved introducing membranes. Therefore, as an additive reagent has potential improve
