摘要: Based on luminescence, the photoluminescent thermometer can in principle function electromagnetic field coupling and perturbation. Several prototypal probes that have been constructed tested demonstrate feasibility of concept. Temperature resolution approximately 0.3 degrees C has thus far achieved. The are needle-shaped, sturdy less than 1 millimeter size. This system excellent potential application monitoring controlling tissue temperatures when microwaves used to induce hyperthermia for cancer treatment.
