摘要: Abstract This paper presents an overview of the different methodologies and mathematical optimization models developed in framework EU-funded project SiNGULAR towards optimal exploitation efficient short-term operation RES production insular electricity networks. Specifically, algorithms employed for creation system load scenarios that capture spatial temporal correlations corresponding variables as well procedure followed units׳ availability using Monte Carlo simulation are discussed. In addition, advanced unit commitment economic dispatch models, have been scheduling conventional generating units time-scales (day-ahead, intra-day, real-time) presented. Indicative test results from implementation all pilot island Crete, Greece, illustrated valuable conclusions drawn.
