摘要: Previous research has demonstrated that the nucleus accumbens is a site where opioids and cannabinoids interact to alter feeding behavior. However, influence of endocannabinoid 2-arachidonylglycerol (2-AG) on well-characterized model intra-accumbens opioid driven high-fat behavior not been explored. The present experiments examined associated behaviors produced by interaction 2-AG μ-opioid receptor agonist DAla(2),N,Me-Phe(4),Gly-ol(5)-enkaphalin (DAMGO) administered into accumbens. Sprague-Dawley rats were implanted with bilateral cannulae aimed at co-administered both sub-threshold dose (0 or 0.25 μg/0.5 μl/side) DAMGO (0, 0.025 μg in all combinations, counterbalanced order. Animals then immediately allowed 2h-unrestricted access period palatable diet. Consumption, number duration food hopper entries, locomotor activity monitored. treatment led an increase multiple behaviors, including consumption, entry, activity. combined administration subthreshold significant entries activity, compared itself. results confirm endogenous cannabinoid increases DAMGO-induced approach feeding.
