摘要: As the prevalence of obesity has increased, bariatric surgery become more common because its proven efficacy at promoting weight loss and improving weight-related medical comorbidities. Although generally successful, may also lead to complications negatively affect health. This article highlights some rare surgery. Specifically, it discusses risk nutrient deficiencies (which is influenced by type) their downstream effects, including ill-effects on bone Rarer complications, such as postbypass hypoglycemia alcohol use disorder, are discussed.
