摘要: SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION An integrative analysis using VHR remote sensing images from the QuickBird sensor and socio-economic data in order to assess vulnerability of informal settlements within Delhi, India has been presented. First, an object-oriented image classification, including multi-resolution segmentation, was per-formed successfully identify different settlement types. It is therefore possible detect which are mega urban risk areas thus potential residential zones vul-nerable population groups. Furthermore, classification results were embedded concept find out whether can provide indicators for vulner-ability assessment. The evaluation showed that it characterize a given type - this case terms specific water related parameters (e.g. total population, density, consumption). In turn, these outcomes enable identification living quarters vulnerable megacity. manner also should be other types megacity hence, classify conditions local inhabitants. As result, further work needed on more ter-ritory. This could support proactive sustainable planning land management – increases importance techniques. understood as first step development transferable methodology structures megacities like Delhi.
