摘要: Fixed anti-predator activities are costly because they limit the ability of prey to take advantage short term temporal patchiness in predation pressure. The discriminate between hungry and satiated predators a flexible response differential threat can help lower costs behavior. In this study Trinidadian guppies (Poecilia reticulata) were found distinguish predators. Trinidad, populations experience different levels from piscivorous fish. Individuals taken with chronically high pressure responded stronger predator than those low sites.
