摘要: In this review, the pathological alteration and clinical relevance of voltage-gated K(+) (Kv) channels their specific regulation by protein kinase-dependent signaling in vascular smooth muscle cells are described, particularly focusing on pulmonary vasculature. The physiological relevance, channel characteristics, pharmacological modulation, expression Kv vary between different arterial beds subdivisions arteries within those beds. Although detailed cascades regulating not clearly elucidated, it is known that can be tightly regulated kinases C (PKC) A (PKA). Alterations function has been noted pathophysiological conditions including hypertension (pulmonary systemic), diabetes individuals subjected to prolonged hypoxia (high altitude living). Vascular potential therapeutic targets diseases such as and, therefore, important understand modulation isoforms
