Cultural assumptions and productivity: the United States and China.

摘要: Based on the premise that study of another culture is a useful tool for learning about one's own environment, author compares and contrasts major cultural characteristics U.S. China. Although he guards against idea blindly adopting Chinese assumptions, feels may benefit economically by looking toward China to find new insights fresh approaches help better cope with prevalent economic ills--low productivity lack innovation in work force.
