摘要: Expression of β1–6 branched oligosaccharides in human breast cancer cells was investigatedin vivo andin vitro. Lectin histochemical and lectin blotting analyses surgically resected specimens were performed using L-PHA (phaseolus vulgaris leukoagglutinin) lectin, which binds to oligosaccharides. The glycoproteins bearing tissues found be 170 kD 120 molecular weight, the former appeared an epitope carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). expressed both cell lines at outer layer colonies when cultured type I collagen, but not agarose gel. No correlation observed between expression cycle. did coincide with cancer-associated antigens, such as CEA, MUC1, cathepsin D. these markedly inhibited swainsonine, a mannosidase II inhibitor, added culture medium. molecule, obtained from MCF-7 collagen gel, consistent that similar lysosome-associated membrane (LAMPs). results suggest incorporate CEA LAMPs may depend on their surrounding matrices play important role invasion or metastasis.
