摘要: Objective: This study examined prospective relationships of green space attributes with adults initiating or maintaining recreational walking. Methods: Postal surveys were completed by 1036 living in Adelaide, Australia, at baseline (two time points 2003-04) and follow-up (2007-08). Initiating walking was determined using self-reported frequency. Green perceived presence, quality, proximity, the objectively measured area (total largest) number spaces within a 1.6. km buffer drawn from center each neighborhood. Multilevel regression analyses odds separately for attribute. Results: At baseline, participants categorized into non-regular (n. = 395), regular 286), irregular walkers 313). Among walkers, 30% had initiated walking, while 70% maintained follow-up. No associated However, positive perceptions presence proximity to total largest areas significantly higher likelihood maintenance over four years. Conclusion: Neighborhood may not assist initiate but their facilitate them maintain time.
