摘要: The modular nature of the Wnt pathway provides multiple potential points intervention to alter its activity. In this chapter we review opportunities inhibit signalling at various levels, including synthesis and secretion ligands, activation receptor complex, degradation cytoplasmic β-catenin finally nuclear complex between other transcription factors co-activators. We also discuss possibility therapies targeting downstream target genes a number approaches with less defined mechanisms, whose anti-oncogenic properties may be mediated by suppression. This mainly focusses on canonical Wnt-β-catenin signalling, although non-canonical pathways are discussed, in relation their role inhibition.
