摘要: Abstract Selenium is an essential trace element for mammals and closely related to the occurrence of many age-related diseases according intensive studies. Clinical data from animal human studies indicates that shortage supplement in selenium may lead formation cataract. In addition, proper dosing with help strengthen defensive system lens against oxidation by modulating certain enzymes protein kinase pathways preventing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) methylation. The relationship between supplementation cataract will probably provide instructive guide dietary prevention as alternative surgery.
