摘要: Abstract Solution-based chalcogenide glass films, traditionally deposited by spin-coating, are attractive for their potential use in chip-based devices operating the mid-infrared and ease of nanostructure incorporation. To overcome limitations spin-coating such as excessive material waste difficulty scale-up, this paper introduces electrospray a film deposition technique solution-based glasses. Electrospray is shown to produce Ge23Sb7S70 films with similar surface quality optical properties spin-coating. The advantages nanoparticle dispersion, scalable continuous manufacturing little waste, comparable make promising method practical applications films.
