摘要: A pilot study was performed to evaluate formation, distribution and emission of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) from cement kilns that co-process fly ash municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI). Stack gas particulate samples multiple stages in the process were collected analyzed for PCDD/Fs. emissions PCDD/Fs below European Union limit (0.1 ngTEQm(-3)). PCDD/F concentrations particulates cyclone preheater outlet, suspension boiler, humidifier tower, back-end bag filter much higher than other samples, which suggests these areas are major sites formation. Comparison homolog congener profiles different suggested tetra- penta-chlorinated furans mainly formed during kiln co-processing MSWI ash. Three lower chlorinated furan congeners, including 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzofuran, 1,2,3,7,8-pentachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin 2,3,4,7,8-pentachlorodibenzofuran, identified as dominant contributors toxic equivalents (TEQ) The concentration correlated with chloride content, is consistent its positive effect on This could be mitigated by pretreating feedstock remove metals. Mass balance indicated eliminated about 94% TEQ input feedstock. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
