摘要: The eukaryotic RNA exosome is an essential, multi-subunit complex that catalyzes turnover, maturation, and quality control processes. Its non-catalytic donut-shaped core includes 9 subunits associate with the 3' to 5' exoribonucleases Rrp6, Rrp44/Dis3, a subunit also endoribonuclease activity. Although recent structures biochemical studies of bound exosomes from S. cerevisiae revealed Exo9 central channel guides either Rrp6 or Rrp44 using partially overlapping mutually exclusive paths, several issues related recruitment remain. Here, we identify activities for highly basic C-terminal tail term 'lasso' because it binds stimulates ribonuclease associated within 11-subunit nuclear exosome. Stimulation dependent on channel, lasso contributes degradation processing substrates in vitro vivo. Finally, present evidence may be conserved feature
