摘要: A method for preformatting each track of an optical disk with spaced header patterns using a plurality overlapping, individually modulated writing laser beams arranged in line perpendicular to the track. All are derived from single multi-line so as provide high positioning stability, and adjacent chosen have different wavelengths order prevent deleterious effects coherent interference between overlapping beams. specific pattern is provided on pass by turning ones during time periods recording area traversed. read-after-write beam additionally permit immediate verification recorded pattern.
