Mini-review: calixarene liquid crystals

摘要: Calixarene liquid crystals were important part among calixarene derivatives. The synthesis and mesomorphic properties of all kinds crystala have been discussed reviewed. There are two methods to prepare crystals. One way is introduce the corresponding functional groups with long alkyl chains, which usually afford columnar crystal a rigid bowlic core. organization possesses interesting changes after complexation guests. Another triphenylene unit obtain calixarenes column units as ancillary lateral columns or on side. Moreover, they showed conversion between before ions.
