摘要: The mean velocity field of unventilated two parallel plane jets for large nozzle spacing ratios has been studied using a two-component laser Doppler anemometer. Results show that by comparison with small s/w (less than 5), the interactions between inner shear layer and recirculation zone are weaker. initial peaks turbulence intensities Reynolds stress corresponding to outer edges tend persist downstream from location vortex centre without being overwhelmed influences caused recirculating flow in zone. lateral spread decay more rapidly layer. attraction individual towards each other is clearly illustrated vector supported static pressure measurements. Comparisons results those ventilated literature indicate there no combine develop into single free jet much earlier jets.
