摘要: Potgieter, H. J. (Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.), and M. Alexander. Susceptibility resistance of several fungi to microbial lysis. Bacteriol. 91:1526–1532. 1966.—Strains Streptomyces, Nocardia, Pseudomonas capable lysing hyphae Fusarium solani or Neurospora crassa were obtained by selective culture, but attempts isolate an organism Rhizoctonia failed. When provided with F. N. as carbon sources, the actinomycetes tested produced β-(1 → 3) glucanase chitinase. A mixture containing purified chitinase induced spheroplast formation in solani, caused some morphological changes crassa, had almost no effect on R. hyphae. The polysaccharides walls, which contain a large amount glucose well galactose, mannose, glucosamine, not hydrolyzed appreciably two enzymes. Laminaribiose laminaritriose released enzymatic hydrolysis gentiobiose was liberated from walls. Melaninlike materials found accounting for 8.50% wall weight. role melanin protecting lysis is suggested.
