摘要: Between 2002 and 2007, fifty elderly patients with displaced femoral neck fractures were treated hip replacement at Emergency Hospital, Mansoura University. Patients randomly selected, 25 had either cemented or cementless bipolar prosthesis, another fixed-head prosthesis. There 34 women 16 men an average age of 63.5 years (range between 55 72 years). All followed up both clinically radiologically for 4.4 years 2 6 years). At the final follow-up, Harris score among group was 92 points 72 97 points), while 84 65 95 points). Radiologically, joint space narrowing more than 2 mm found in only 8% (2 patients) group, 28% (7 group. Through follow-up period, total needed two cases seven Bipolar hemiarthroplasty offered a better range movement less pain stability fractures.
