Efficacy of Weight Bearing Exercises on Balance in Children with Down Syndrome

摘要: Background: Children with Down syndrome have lower scores on balance and agility tasks, as well running speed, strength visual-motor control than do children other mental impairments. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect weight bearing exercises in syndrome. Methods: Static dynamic were measured by Bruininks-Oseretsky Test Motor Proficiency 26 subjects randomly divided into two groups equal size (study control). They ranged age from 2 5 years old they selected both gender. A program conducted for six weeks group addition traditional physical therapy program. received only Results: results revealed high significant improvement static (p< 0.01) when compared that group. Conclusion: well-organized could improve (Egypt J Neurol Psychiat Neurosurg. 2010; 47(1): 37-46)
