摘要: This is the first study to report Chrysomya pinguis (Walker) and Lucilia porphyrina (Diptera: Calliphoridae) as forensically important blow fly species from human cadavers in Thailand, addition villeneuvi (Patton) already known Thailand. In 2016, a fully decomposed body of an unknown adult male was discovered high mountainous forest during winter Chiang Mai province. The remains were infested heavily with thousands larvae feeding simultaneously on them. Morphological identification adults reared larvae, molecular analysis based sequencing 1,247 bp partial mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 gene (CO1) puparia, confirmed above mentioned 3 species. approving forensic evidence by approach described for time Moreover, neighbor-joining phylogenetic CO1 performed compare relatedness species, thereby affirming accuracy identification. As entomofauna varies among cases different geographic climatic circumstances, C. L. added list Thai entomology caseworks, including colonizers open, areas winter. Further research should focus these which no developmental data are currently available.
