摘要: Attributed to climatic change and uncertainty of weather conditions, drought has become a recurrent phenomenon. It is manifested by erratic uncertain rainfall distribution in dependent farming areas. The hitherto methods monitoring employed conventional that rely on availability metrological data. objectives this research were to: 1) identify the critical factors for efficiently implementing geo-spatial information monitoring, 2) develop new approach extracting knowledge from satellite imageries real time food insecure areas, 3) validate calibrate national regional applications. For research, data MSG NOAA AVHRR used. preliminary results confirmed can be used output helps decision makers taking appropriate actions saving millions lives affected areas using advanced technology.
