摘要: Various satellite data are currently used to detect ships on the sea surface. However, no study use of Gaofen-1 (GF-1) monitor surface inland rivers has been reported. Therefore, we proposed a method extract river-surface from GF-1 imagery. The Normalized Differential Water Index was calculated enhance contrast between water and non-water areas after preprocessing procedure. multi-resolution segmentation object-oriented classification rule sets were in image. Results show that most ships, whose length-to-width ratio ranges 3.0 7.2, could be identified correctly regardless their size. results also indicate detecting using imagery is feasible.
