Highly efficient removal of methyl orange in aqueous solutions by calcined-layered double hydroxides

摘要: Zn–Al-layered double hydroxides were firstly prepared and then dehydrated to calcined-layered (c-LDHs) by annealing at elevated temperature. The structure, surface area, adsorption properties of the samples studied. results show that area c-LDHs is enlarged compared their precursors, which favorable for methyl orange (MO). optimum pH MO ranges from 4 9. In such conditions, can be adsorbed on inserted into layers adsorbent, thus possess high capacity even low concentration. process well described pseudo-second-order kinetic model, isotherm follows Langmuir equation. mechanism recycling performance are also discussed.
