摘要: The importance of considering genetic variation in conservation rare plants is well understood (Falk and Holsinger 1991; Hamrick Godt 1996; Rieseberg Swensen 1996). In addition, the diversity plant reintroduction has been argued (Fenster Dudash 1994; Mistretta Havens 1998; Falk et al. 2001, 2006; Hufford Mazer 2003). As a result, various guidelines for collecting propagules (primarily seed) based on theory have put forth (Knapp Rice Center Plant Conservation McKay 2005). Here I review tenets restoration genetics before discussing means measuring species slated reintroduction. Current collection examples empirical studies that measured before, during, after are presented evaluated. Lastly, further arguments inclusion data practice presented, with brief discussion issue managed relocation how may inform future changing climate.
