摘要: A novel superhydrophobic calcium phosphate coating was prepared on a magnesium alloy substrate by highly effective chemical conversion process and subsequent modification. Different methods were employed to characterize the surface morphology composition as well measure wettability of coating. It demonstrated that as-prepared has typical three-level hierarchical structure consisted micro-protrusions, submicro-lumps nano-grains, conferring excellent superhydrophobicity with water contact angle 159°. The electrochemical measurements appropriate equivalent circuit revealed corrosion-resistant performance significantly improved compared substrate, corrosion potential increases from −1.56 −1.36 V, its current density decreases 1.29 × 10−4 1.3 × 10−6 A/cm2. anti-corrosion mechanism also discussed. can be indicated inhibitive properties are in accordance hydrophobicity, which is owing presence protective layer air trapped grooves isolate underlying materials external environment.
