摘要: Strawberry fruits of thevariety Red Gauntlet were harvested at 7 day intervals after petal fall. Changes in fruit weight, percentages survival on the plant, chlorophyll: carotenoid and anthocyanin, titratable acid, pH extracts sugar content measured. Also changes soluble total pectic polysaccharides alcoholinsoluble residues followed during development. Fruit growth was not exponential later stages falling rate correlated to softening. The developmental processes taking growing fruits, especially respect cell wall structure, relevance results storage are discussed.
